Position: Consultant - Information Technology Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant - Information Technology Project Manager to join our team on a freelance/contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, specifically in the field of information technology. They will be responsible for managing and overseeing the successful delivery of IT projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with clients and internal teams

- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies

- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery

- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations

- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure profitability

- Provide guidance and support to project team members, including training and development opportunities

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management and information technology

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry

- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering IT projects on time and within budget

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- PMP or other project management certifications are a plus

Contract Details:

This is a freelance/contract position based in Saint Helier, Jersey. The duration of the contract will be determined based on the project requirements. The consultant will be compensated based on a negotiated hourly or project-based rate.
