Position: Consultant - Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant - Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of cloud and infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized cloud and infrastructure solutions to meet those needs

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud and infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization

- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and identify and resolve any issues that arise

- Ensure all systems are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations

- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud and infrastructure technology and make recommendations for improvement

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and support staff, to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a consulting or agency environment

- Strong knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Experience with infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance

- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V

- Knowledge of network security and compliance standards

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Contract Details:

This is a freelance position with a competitive hourly rate. The duration of the contract will depend on the client's needs and project requirements.
